Okay technically this thing your reading is usually called a blog but something about that always felt so stale to me. Then I was going to call it a journal but something about that just did not feel right and I couldn’t get over it. Then it clicked, back in my coaching days I would do journal time with my kids, and somewhere along the way some of my athletes started calling it story time with Heather. I think it was in the era I was going through a children’s book with them called Inch and Miles. I would read a different building block each week to them and we would talk about it, quotes that related to it and write in our journal answering some related prompts. It was all about success and the building blocks to success, tldr success occurs when we are excited about hard work. Anyway I digress. That is why I named this little corner of the internet stories. I want to feel free to be expressive and myself and talk about lots of things. I hope that’s okay with you? I really cherished story time with my kids and I am excited to bring that little piece of who I am back up and into my life.
